First off I would like to say that Lance is a very hardworking, motivated and honest gentleman. His professionalism impressed me from the beginning with his quick response calling me back and showing up on time. Lance and his crew re-graded our back yard, built us a beautiful 20x20 paver patio and sodded the whole yard for the finishing touch. I can't say enough good things about Lance's Lawn & Landscape. I hired them in November to replace our 185-foot retaining wall of rail road ties with stone. I received several bids from other companies (many of which never call me back), Lance was prompt to return my phone call and had an estimate in my hands in no less then a week. Even though Lance was the middle bid, I decided to go with him because of his reputation and level of professionalism he presented. Needless to say, it was a big project, but Lance and his crew worked tirelessly to deliver a fantastic end result. It rained a few times during the project, but they didn't let the weather slow them down. Lance completed my wall on time and on budget and I would recommend his company to anybody who wants a beautiful looking retaining wall along with outstanding customer service.

We were impressed before Lance even got started because of his responsiveness. He returned our calls and emails promptly. He really made the other companies we got estimates from look bad. He emailed us photos of prospective plants that would fit our landscaping needs to get a feel for our tastes. We had a lot of shade, so we were worried we would be limited, but he came up with a lot of options. After we signed the contract they started quite quickly. He stopped by to describe the design he had in mind and give us description of the plants. He also killed off a lot of the old weeds and foliage prior to the big day. He got the majority done in a day. He offered to work in areas far from son's window during his nap time. It was very considerate. As he was doing his work, he had a lot of our neighbors giving him compliments. They kept flowing after he finished as well. I even called and asked him to put a sign up advertising his company for a week to field the 'Who did your landscaping question?' I really can't give him a higher recommendation.

Before hiring Lance's Lawn & Landscape, we requested several bids over a period of about one month. Lance was one of the few that followed up to see if we had made a decision and whether we had any questions he could answer. His was the lowest bid, so we asked for addresses where we could go see his work on retaining walls. He had done good work for us in mowing, and was very dependable, so we chose Lance. He stayed with the job until completed, was willing to make requested adjustments along the way; he was very neat in his work and cleaned up nicely when completed; he acquired and spread additional matching lava rock as the finishing touch. Throughout the project he did "satisfaction checks" which I appreciated. We have received many compliments on our walls.
